The newsroom visual system is still here: strong headlines, layered card grids, location-led sections, creator screens, and article detail layouts. What changed is the plumbing underneath. Everything that was driven by JavaScript and sample data has been flattened into direct HTML.
That makes the project easier to preview, easier to hand off, and easier to refine visually. The site is now best used as a clean UI showcase for static review and responsive QA.
